Clear Translations is an Alberta-based Canadian company founded by ATIA-certified members. Our founders are certified members of the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta, and are affiliated members of the Council of Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters of Canada (CTTIC), and the Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs (FIT).
Clear Translations was founded in response to a huge demand for qualified translators and interpreters across Canada at a time when existing language service providers were not able to deliver consistent, quality results. We were motivated to provide our clients with consistently accurate and reliable translation and interpretation services that exceeded industry standards. We also wanted to provide a base for top-quality, experienced, and accredited language professionals where their work would be respected and where they would continue to develop and hone their skills.
By harnessing the talents of professionals in the language industries, by respecting and rewarding the work that they do, and by offering the public expert translation, interpretation, and language services that exceed industry standards and client expectations, we aim to make a meaningful difference in our field.
Clear’s team consists of professional technical, legal and literary translators and interpreters, language experts, and trainers. Our team members are selected for their credentials, their commitment to quality, and their proven efficiency in their areas of expertise. Our clientele includes government agencies, businesses, legal firms, academics, as well as other industries and individuals. Our translation and interpretation services exceed industry standards locally (Edmonton and Calgary), provincially (Alberta) and in Canada.
Clear also offers professional editing and proofreading services to writers aiming to publish their work in journals, books, or other forms of publication. We also offer training and testing to other translators, interpreters, and proofreaders delivered via our hand-selected, professional instructors, and by using recognized testing methods. Clients doing business in other countries may find our cultural brokerage services useful for understanding foreign cultures, customs and traditions and, ultimately, for facilitating more effective and successful communication outcomes.
